Prophylaxis
A dentist or a dental hygienist can do oral prophylaxis, which includes a complete assessment of your oral health as well as a scale and clean. There are several aspects to the examination:
Medical history is being updated. One of the most crucial aspects of an oral prophylactic is updating your medical account and comparing it to your records. This will assist the dentist in determining whether or not additional treatment or examination is required.

Tooth Extraction
A tooth extraction removes a tooth from its socket in the gum. A regular dentist, an oral surgeon, or a periodontist are usually the ones to perform it.
The treatment will occur in a dentist's office or a dental clinic at a hospital. It may involve the extraction of one or more teeth. Antibiotics may be prescribed before the surgery.
A local anesthetic is used to numb the area around the tooth so that you don't feel any pain.
A tooth removal equipment called an elevator is used by your dentist to remove the tooth in the gum.
Your dentist will then use forceps to extract the tooth out of the gum.

X-Rays
Dental X-Rays. Digital dental X-rays of your mouth are taken to get updated visualizations of what's going on beneath the surface. It can uncover issues with teeth and bone, such as tracking the advancement of wisdom teeth that could create complications. These may be given at every visit or every other visit, depending on your oral health history.
Periodontal Probing. At the gum line, there is a little gap between your gums and teeth. This gap is quite small in healthy teeth. Infected teeth with gingivitis or periodontitis, on the other hand, develop a pocket that can be several millimeters deep. This gap will be examined to determine how deep it is and whether there is any reason to suspect it.

Composite & GIC Filling
Both composite and GIC are commonly used suitable materials used for filling. The choice depends on what type of cavity you have in your tooth. If it is a smaller cavity, then GIC can be used. If the hole is a bit deeper, then you may need to use a more robust material like resin-modified GIC or a composite. Composite is usually used for front teeth where the color is essential, as it is available in different shades.

Removable partial and Complete Denture
A removable partial denture (RPD) is a denture for a partially edentulous patient who desires to have replacement teeth for functional or aesthetic reasons and who cannot have a bridge (a fixed partial denture) any reason, such as a lack of required teeth to serve as support for a bridge (i.e. distal abutments) or financial limitations.
This type of prosthesis is referred to as a removable partial denture because patients can remove and reinsert it when required without professional help. Conversely, a "fixed" prosthesis can and should be removed only by a dental professional.
The aim of an RPD is to restore masticatory function, speech, appearance, and other anatomical features.
The same is available today with removable complete dentures as well.

Fixed Partial and Complete Denture
Fixed Partial Dentures or the FPD, meaning in dentistry, is a prosthetic denture restoration. They are dental apparatus anchored permanently in the mouth. The doctor will attach the denture to teeth roots, dental implants, or natural teeth. They stay always in the patient’s mouth. The purpose of fixed dental partials is to fill in gaps caused by one or more missing teeth. The common term is a bridge because the apparatus functions as a bridge. The dentist creates a bridge between the spaces of the missing teeth.
Fixed dentures represent the newest alternative to removable dentures by combining traditional denture technology with modern advancements in dental implants. A complete fixed denture is a full set of teeth affixed to the jaw using multiple dental implants. The fixed denture is custom-fitted to sit securely in place to increase retention, stability, and comfort instantly.
Full-fixed dentures eliminate the problems associated with removable dentures. Being anchored into living bone tissue with titanium implants, the fixed denture provides the stimulation and support needed to prevent or minimize further bone loss. The wearer is no longer concerned about their denture having to be refitted, removing it to clean, or the denture coming out at a very inopportune moment. This means you can eat with greater confidence, speak without a slur, and throw away the jar, denture cleaners, and adhesives in your bathroom.

Dental Crowns
Over time, your teeth can get damaged. This can happen for a variety of reasons, like tooth decay, injuries, or just use over time and can lose their shape or size. Dental crowns are tooth-shaped “caps” that can be placed over your tooth. The crown restores the tooth’s shape, size, strength, and appearance. The dental crown is cemented into place on your tooth and it covers the visible portion of the tooth. They can be made out of metals, porcelain, resin, and ceramics. They typically don’t require special care over time other than regular good oral hygiene.

Surgical Procedures
RCT and Capping
A “root canal” is not a treatment but part of a tooth. The hollow section of a tooth contains the nerve tissue, blood vessels, and other cells, also known as the pulp. A tooth consists of a crown and roots. The height is mainly above the gum, while the roots are below it. The roots attach the tooth to the jawbone.
Inside the crown and the root, or the root canal, is the pulp. The pulp nourishes the tooth and provides moisture to the surrounding material—the nerves in the pulp sense hot and cold temperatures as pain.
The name of dental procedure commonly referred to as a “root canal” is endodontic therapy, which means “inside the tooth.”
However, the term “root canal” has become commonly used to talk about the procedure. It can further include the decision of putting a cap or not on the operated tooth. It is vital to maintain the results of a successful dental procedure like a root canal to avoid further damage to teeth. Capping after a root canal procedure helps the treated tooth regain its strength and helps to save surrounding teeth from getting damaged.

Soft Tissue Surgery
A soft tissue procedure does not involve teeth or bone. Soft Tissue ProceduresOften, the soft tissues inside the mouth require surgery to reshape or restore tissues around teeth or implants. Soft tissue surgery can include augmentation, reduction, or reshaping. Oral soft tissue surgery aims to restore and maintain attractive and healthy tissues.

Orthodontic Treatment
Some people have naturally straight teeth that fit together. But if you have problems with your bite or the spacing of your teeth, you may need orthodontic care. Orthodontia is the branch of dentistry that deals with abnormalities of the teeth and jaw.
Orthodontic care involves the use of devices, such as braces, to:
Straighten teeth
Bite correction problems
Close gaps between teeth
Alignment of lips and teeth
Most people who receive orthodontic care are kids, but adults get braces, too. In young children, orthodontic treatment may guide and help with the proper growth of the jaw. This can help permanent teeth to come in properly. Straight permanent teeth can help prevent tooth problems later on.
